YOUR CITY FIRST

A closed street, a cul-de-sac, a park or a church lot. The truck pulls up, Kevin cooks jerk chicken over charcoal, and the whole block smells it.

If you are closing a street, your city decides what that takes, so start there. In a park or an HOA common area, ask whoever owns it what they need from a vendor. Get that answer before you lock the date with us.

on the day

WHERE THE TRUCK GOES

The truck is self contained, so there is nothing to plug it into. It is 23 feet long and it sets up on grass, dirt or gravel, so a park or an unpaved lot is fine. One end of the closed section usually beats the middle, because the line can form without cutting the party in half. Send us a photo of the spot if you are not sure. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for setup.

YOU PICK THE DISHES AHEAD OF TIME

You choose the dishes before the day, and we bring those. People order, walk off with a plate and come back for more. Two free sides with every meal keep the line moving. If heat is a question on your street, our heat guide ranks the menu from mild to hot.

A HEADCOUNT YOU CANNOT PIN DOWN

Give us your best guess and tell us how firm it is. For scale, our biggest job so far was a two day Juneteenth event, roughly 500 to 600 people.
